Fellowship Groups

Fellowship Groups

Broadmoor Community Church Fellowship Groups are created for people interested in making new friends and sharing common interests. They allow us to develop relationships with others. And they are a lot of fun! All fellowship events are included on the Church Calendar.

Book Club – Latitudes and Attitudes – Literature From Around the World
This is an informal study group that meets to discuss a book about travel or pilgrimages – selected Thursdays of every other month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Fireside Room. For more information contact Mary Sue Wildman at mwildman6@aol.com or 634-8942.

Bridge Review
Lee Evenson leads an educational bridge review on Tuesdays, September through April from 1:30 – 3:30 pm in the Otto Fellowship Hall. Contact Lee (632-3460) for more information.

Baby Boomers
This is a group for anyone born between 1946-1964. We meet every other month for fellowship and/or mission work. Past events have included dancing, Halloween party, Oktoberfest, Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen and the annual New England Yankee Swap. Watch the website calendar or our weekly announcements for information on the next event. For more information, contact Bridgett Lambert (576-5378).

Elders Program
Faith has the ability to propel people to lead at home, work and in the community. Broadmoor Community Church offers individuals the chance to meet in small house-church groups (3-5 people). These groups discuss faith and leadership and share happenings in their own lives. Currently, Broadmoor Community Church has eleven of these groups. Group members are matched with mentors/elders to discuss a wide range of topics once a month. If you would like to participate in this dynamic program, contact the Church Office at 473-1807.

Ladies Night Out/Ladies Lunch Bunch
This is an informal fellowship time with lots of good conversation and laughter for all women in the church and their friends. For restaurant or location venue, consult the weekly announcements or the Church Calendar on the website.

Women’s Fellowship Meetings
Each month September through May, the Women’s Fellowship hosts a number of activities. All women of the church, non-members, friends and guests are invited to attend.  For information on upcoming events please check the Church Calendar or call Ginny Rosinski (576-3570) or Mary McInnis (473-1807 x119) in the church office.

  • Women’s Fellowship Workshop –  These workshops are designed to create cards that are sold in the reception area.  The money from these cards goes to support the various groups that the Women’s Fellowship helps.  During the year there are times when we will be making gift bags to go to these groups.
  • Women’s Fellowship Prayer Bead Workshop –  Plan to join in this easy and fun activity which helps support the First Steps Spirituality Center headed by Rev. Leanne Hadley. All supplies are provided.
  • Monthly Program Meetings – Please join the women of the church and friends for monthly meetings that may include a guest speaker or program and refreshments on the third Wednesday of the month, September through May.
