Serve the Church
Caring Ministries provides care to church members and friends during times of transition, with phone calls, notes, personal visits, meals and flowers and home communion. If you would like to participate in the Caring Ministry Program, please contact Lee Evenson (632-3460), Caring Ministry Coordinator.
Peace and Justice Ministry Team
This ministry team is for anyone interested in topics relating to peace and justice. We help educate the congregation on important social issues, both local and global. Our church has already explored issues like global food policies, water, environmental restoration and Mexico (immigration policy). And we’ve touched on topics like the death penalty in Colorado, voter suppression, equal marriage rights, war and homelessness. If you’re interested, contact Jim Chapman.
Consider serving on the Fellowship Ministry Team by providing refreshments at the middle hour between services. Join with others in perhaps the most popular of all Sunday services. Make friends in the kitchen, like in the olden days! This is an open ministry open to anyone. Call Charlotte Mason (719-634-7590)for more information or to sign up for a Sunday,
Church Safety Team
Our Safety Team is visible every Sunday in the parking lots and buildings. These friendly ambassadors greet you outside on the way into church and patrol the buildings during services. New members are always needed. For more information, contact Ken Nall at 576-0125 or Mary McInnis at firstname.lastname@example.org. Next time you see a member wearing a badge and greeting you in the parking lot, please offer your thanks for their service in this ministry!
